To support students' academic journey, PALSI is back for the new semester! Starting from Week 4, PALSI leaders will facilitate weekly sessions to help peer students deepen their understanding of course content and develop effective learning strategies.

This semester, we have recruited 11 leaders to offer PALSI sessions for three courses, including MA1300 Enhanced Calculus and Linear Algebra I, CS1302 Introduction to Computer Programming, and CHEM1200 Discovery in Biology. Among the 11 groups, two are conducted in English to better meet the needs of our diverse student community. During the initial registration period, 86 students signed up for PALSI, with a total of 120 enrollments across the 11 groups.

As the new semester progresses, PALSI remains committed to supporting students in achieving their academic goals. We wish all PALSI students a productive, engaging, and rewarding semester ahead!

🔗 What is PALSI?

PALSI (Peer-Assisted Learning Scheme Using Supplemental Instruction) is a course-based learning initiative. Senior students who have performed well in the same course are invited to serve as PALSI Leaders. They work collaboratively with peer students to review course content, enhance their learning strategies, and share effective learning practices.

Since its introduction, PALSI has been offered on campus for three consecutive semesters and has supported more than 160 students in their transition to university learning, helping them build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and enhance their overall learning experience.
